Mobio

Overview

Mobio is a B2B mobility platform from Mobio Technologies B.V. in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. It connects taxi companies, dispatchers and professional drivers in a global airport-transfer network, and receives ride bookings directly from Booking.com.

I worked on Mobio at Binate Solutions as a core engineer and led the mobile development team. I was the second-largest contributor to the codebase, with 600+ commits across the backend API, the driver app and the dispatcher portal.

What I did

• Built across the stack: React Native (Expo) driver app, React + TypeScript dispatcher portal and Node.js / Express API.
• Led the mobile development team of 4 developers.
• Built the Booking.com amendment flow, additional bookings, booking edits and fare / final-price updates end-to-end.
• Added real-time driver events over Socket.IO, push notifications, flight delay & cancellation handling, ride planning and paginated history.
• Shipped commission rules, invoices, IBAN payouts and payment approvals, plus Excel export and global search in the portal.

• Driver app for iOS & Android: onboarding and vehicle documents, ride planning, assignments, in-app chat, no-show reports and payouts.
• Booking.com integration service handling amendments, additional bookings and fare updates.
• Real-time dispatch with Socket.IO + Redis, push notifications and flight delay / cancellation handling.
• Commission rules, invoices and PDFs, Stripe payments, Twilio SMS, SendGrid email and S3 uploads.
• React + TypeScript portal for dispatchers and admins with Excel export and global search.
